Nature’s Wonder in the Vineyard

Situated in the heart of the Wairau Valley in New Zealand’s famous Marlborough wine region, Stoneleigh Vineyard is home to a unique natural environment. Millions of years ago, the deep rivers of the Wairau flowed across the area we now call home. The stones that were once the bed of an ancient river, today form the floor of our vineyard and give us our name – Stoneleigh.

During the day, these sunstones reflect the Marlborough sunshine up into the vines, bathing the grapes in warmth from above and below. As dusk falls over the mountains surrounding the vineyard, we witness a wonder of nature; the sunstones release the day’s warmth, ripening the grapes, creating a crisp, vibrant wine.

Growing in these unique conditions, our vines work hard to produce the precious grapes – each intense in flavour. This wonder of nature provides a crisp, vibrant wine – the taste of Stoneleigh.
